Alice Ayleta Tedford

Alice Ayleta Tedford, 81, of Quitman, Texas, passed away on January 9, 2025. Alice was born on August 17, 1943, in Colorado City, Texas, to Christopher Weldon Manning and Faye Rebecca Brashear Manning. She spent much of her life in Abilene, Texas, before settling in the Wood County area in 2010. Alice worked as a daycare teacher, where her nurturing spirit touched the lives of many children. She enjoyed bowling with her cousin, playing bingo, and spending time with loved ones. Alice was a devoted member of the Church of Christ in Quitman, where she found community and faith. Alice’s warmth and kindness will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

She is preceded by her mom Fay Manning, and John Noe Sr.

She is survived by her 1st cousin Wanda Noe; 2nd cousins John Noe Jr. and Mike Randolph; along with several extended family members who will miss her. 

Services for Alice will be held 3:00PM Thursday, January 18, 2025 at Greenleaf Cemetery in Brownwood Texas.
