Andrew Hawkins

Funeral services for Andrew Hawkins, Jr, 60 Mineola are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday July 31st at the First Baptist Church Quitman with Brother James Nickel officiating. Family will receive friends Tuesday evening July 30th from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. at the funeral home. A service will follow Thursday, August 1st , 2:00 PM at Little Coweta Indian Baptist Church, Lenna, OK Burial will follow in the Hawkins Family Cemetery, McIntosh, OK.
Andrew was born August 18, 1952 in Tahlequah, OK to Andrew and Elizabeth Bean Hawkins, Sr. He was a self employed welder.He moved to Quitman in 1994 coming from Arlington. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Quitman, worked in production 7 years for Ozarka and was a crappie guide on Lake Fork. Andrew is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Eugene Hawkins.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Hawkins, Mineola; son, Billy Smith, Mineola, daughter, Lauren Hawkins, Mineola; 3 brothers; Gary Hawkins, Jenks, OK, Ronnie Hawkins and Danny Hawkins, Eufaula, OK; 2 sisters, Brenda Hawkins Earls, Eufaula, OK. and Glenda Hawkins Welty, Ok. City, OK., numerous nieces, newphews and extended family.
