Betty Jo Clem

Funeral services for Betty Jo Clem, 83, Quitman are scheduled for 11:00 AM Tuesday October 15th, at Hubbard Chapel Baptist Church with Brother Rick Ellington officiating. Family will receive friends Monday evening, Oct. 1th at Lowe Funeral Home. She was born December 3, 1929 in Rockdale, TX to William Thomas and Avis Barnes Hughes, a member of Hubbard Chapel Baptist Church and a waitress. She lived in Quitman 5 years coming from Hawkins.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawrence Clem; 2 daughters, Marie and Dusty Clem; a brother, W. T. Hughes; 3 sisters, Marjorie Cooper, Doris Merritt, Tency Walthall. She is survived by 1 grandson, Michael Clem, Hamilton; 1 brother, Tommy Hughes, Quitman; 1 sister, Billie Rickman, Dallas and numerous nieces and nephews.
