Betty Woodward Sims

Betty Woodard Sims, 83, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday September 17,2020. Born on February 4,1937 to her parents Virgil Woodard and Lona Tinney, she was a long-time resident of Wood County.

Betty worked as the Cafeteria Manager at the Elementary school; she was also a long-time member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church.

She is proceeded by her husband Thomas L. Sims.

Betty is survived by sister, Wanda Pinson; son, Thomas Sims; Grandchildren, Chris Sims, Amanda Power, Ashley Sims, Isaac Sims, and Ian Sims; and 5 Great Grandchildren, Mason, Kaydance, Lilli, Kristopher, and Averi; and her many other family and friends.

A Funeral Service for Betty Sims will be Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Lowe Funeral Home.  Visitation for Ms. Sims will be Tuesday, September 22, 2020 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Lowe Funeral Home.  Interment will be at Ebenezer Cemetery.
