Funeral Services for Billy Joe Davis, Sr., are scheduled for 2:00 P M Monday, May 28, 2012 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel of the Chimes, Quitman with Brothers Reggie Day and Darrell Pixley and Gert Bohanan officiating. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Alba.

B.J. was born October 22, 1939 in Longview,Tx to Leon and Percie Davis. He worked for LTV Aircraft Aerospace. He was a Mason for many years and a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Quitman.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Bonner Davis, Quitman; Son and Daughter-in-law: Billy Davis, Jr. and Brenda, Lindale, TX.; Darlene Davis, Quitman; 1 Brother: Jacke Davis, Tyler, TX., 1 Sister: Ailene Sheffield, Arlington,Tx. 8 Grahdchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, 4 nephews and 2 nieces.
