Funeral services for Billy Noel Martin, 74, of Quitman are scheduled for 1:00 P. M. Monday, September 15, 2014, Lowe Funeral Home Chapel of the Chimes, Quitman with Rev. Heath Mitchell officiating. Burial will be Monday, September 15, at the Chilton Cemetery, Big Sandy, TX. Family will recieve friends Sunday evening 6-8 P.M. at Lowe Funeral Home, Quitman, TX.

Billy was born July 5, 1940 Trenton, TX to Noel and Francis Petty Martin and passed away September 12, 2014 in Quitman. Billy is a retired peace officer from the Smith County Sheriff Department. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Lois Ann Martin. Billy is survived by his wife, Heather Martin; 2 sons and daughter in laws, Noel & Traci Martin,Quitman & Jimmy & Kellie Martin, Mineola and 1 daughter, Laura J. Martin, Gilmer, TX.
