Dakota Wayne Bayliss

Memorial services for Dakota Wayne Bayliss, 23, of Mineola are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, December 19, 2020 in Quitman. Dakota graduated from Quitman H.S. in 2016.

Dakota passed away December 12th in Tyler. Dakota was preceded in death by grandmothers, Mary Van Cleave of Quitman and Liz Vlasek of Kerrville.

He is survived by his parents, Danny and Kathy McAbee of Quitman and Keith and Tammy Bayliss of Alba; brother, Dalton Bayliss and fiancee, Cassie Armstrong of Mineola; sister, Delaney Bayliss of Quitman; as well as Grandfather, Ira Van Cleave of Quitman and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In keeping with Dakota’s loving and compassionate nature, his final act was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation. Many lives will be saved and even more will be Blessed by Dakota’s incredible decision and selfless generosity.
