Dana Lee Rivers

Dana Lee Rivers, 65, of Quitman, TX, passed away on March 18, 2025, in Tyler, TX. He was born on March 9, 1960, in Houston, TX, to Flora Lee (Steed) Mansell and was raised by his mother and stepfather, Henry "Rip" Bennett Mansell. Dana grew up in Yantis and later called Quitman his home.

Dana worked as an electrician in Quitman and was known for his dedication to his trade. He had a love for fishing and spent many hours enjoying the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Flora Lee Mansell, and stepfather, Henry "Rip" Bennett Mansell. Dana is survived by his son, Shannon Lee Rivers of Quitman.

His presence will be greatly missed, but his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Graveside service for Dana Rivers will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Sharp Cemetery with Brother Fred Morrow officiating.
