Daniel Loggins, 41, of Bryan, passed away peacefully in his sleep the morning of Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at home. There will be a time of visitation at 5pm with a Celebration of Life at 6pm Tuesday, May 25, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Center in Bryan. Certified Celebrant Dawn Lee Wakefield will officiate with Pastor Jaron Jones of Shine Bible Fellowship, Cypress, Tx.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, May 27 at 10:00am at Faith Baptist Church in Quitman under the direction of Lowe-Gardner Funerals & Cremations, with Pastor Mike Midkiff officiating. Interment will follow at Como City Cemetery in Como, Texas.
Daniel was born December 30, 1979 in Sulphur Springs, Tx to Melinda. He attended Crockett Elementary and Jane Long MS before graduating from Bryan High School in 1998. He was an economics major at Texas A&M University and was a proud member of the Corps of Cadets. Daniel honorably responded to the bonfire collapse and assisted in moving logs and saving fellow classmates for many hours. He was an avid video gamer and enjoyed his time by playing World of Warcraft, among several others.
Survivors include his loving mother, Melinda Loggins and her husband Jason Collette; father, David Loggins and wife Rhonda; grandparents, H.W. and Ann Halcomb, and Louise Loggins; Step Brothers Jeremy and Kaleb.
