Danny McLemore, age 66, passed away peacefully on Dec 4, 2024, surrounded by his family. Born on Dec 30. 1957 Danny was a loving father, brother, papaw, son and friend, whose presence will be missed by all who knew him.
Danny was married to Cindy Thrasher of Mineola for 14 years, and together they raised four children, Daniel McLemore, Alisha McLemore, Joe McLemore of Quitman and Mandi Mitchell of Hitchcock Tx. He was a devoted father whose love for his children was unwavering.
Danny was a proud grandfather who cherished the time with his grandchildren, and often wished he had more time to create lasting memories with them. They will forever hold a special place in his heart.
As a skilled carpenter, Danny worked for Ted Wilson Construction for many years until his retirement in 2022. His work was a true reflection of his craftsmanship and dedication. He took great pride in every project he completed. Outside of work, Danny was passionate about the outdoors, just simply enjoying the natural world. He also had a remarkable green thumb, nurturing the plants and gardens with the same care and attention he gave everything he loved.
Danny is also survived by his siblings: Linda Hearn, Robert and Richard McLemore.
He was preceded in death by his mother Francis McLemore and father Herman McLemore; his sisters Sheila and Kathy McLemore.
Danny’s memory will live on in the hearts and minds of those who loved him. His legacy of craftsmanship, devotion to family and his love of the outdoors will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
