David A. Lindsey

David Lindsey, age 61, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018 at his home in Mount Vernon, TX.

David was born on March 31, 1956 in Dallas, TX to Otis Lindsey and Elene (Marsh) Lindsey.
David was raised in Irving, TX. He worked for LTV Corporation in Dallas as a fiber optic fabricator. He and his wife Laura Lindsey have been married for 43 years. He was a member of East Point Baptist Church in Winnsboro and lived many years in Winnsboro before moving to Mount Vernon two years ago. David enjoyed spending time doing woodwork, fishing and listening and playing gospel and country music.

He was preceded in death by his parents Otis and Elene (Marsh) Lindsey; one sister, Betty Porter and one son Jacob Lindsey.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Laura Lindsey; two sons, Patrick Lindsey and wife Jenny of Pine Mills; John Henry Lindsey of Mount Vernon; one daughter Sarah Lindsey Davis and husband Matthew of Mount Vernon; one sister, Linda Lindsey of Overton; and three grandchildren.

Services will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at 2:00 PM at East Point Baptist Church with Bro. Rick Perkins officiating. Burial will follow at Little Hope Cemetery in Winnsboro.

Serving as Pallbearers are Patrick Lindsey, John Henry Lindsey, Bryce McGovern, Tony McGovern, Anthony McGovern, Damean Wood and Cliff Newman.
