Donald Lynn Taylor

Donald Lynn Taylor, 72, of Quitman TX went home to be with the Lord Friday November 13, 2020 in Tyler Tx.  A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 16, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Lowe Funeral Home. 

Preceded by his parents AT and Tis (Clanton) Taylor of Quitman Tx.

Survived by his wife of 32 years Cathy Pursley Taylor; two brothers, Ronald Taylor, wife Rhonda and Jerry Taylor, wife Linda all of Quitman Tx; Nephew Jeff Taylor of Quitman TX; sister-in-law Linda Pursley Campbell, husband Pete; Children Jack Calk, wife Teresa of Pflugerville TX; Nikki Ramos of Quitman TX; TJ Ramos, wife Paula of Willis TX; Grandchildren Taylor Calk of Pflugerville TX; Crista Calk of Austin TX; Tony Ramos of Willis TX; Colt Ramos of Willis TX; Great Grandchildren Larkin Calk of Pflugerville TX.

After graduating from Quitman High School Donald entered the Army where he served in Viet Nam. When he returned home, he went to work for TDJC and after 32 years he returned home to Quitman to enjoy his retirement.

He will be dearly missed by those who loved and knew him.
