She graduated from Lincoln High School in Dallas, af-ter which she worked as a seamstress. In her spare time, Doris enjoyed making beautiful floral arrangements, cooking, and being actively involved in church activities.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion to her family. Doris will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Doris is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Ray Hervey; parents, Robert Tillman and Johnnie Mae Freeman; her sister, Mary Eulene Chesser; two aunts, Annie Belle Lacy and Willie Kay Kelly; and one son, Aaron Darnell Burrough.
