Dorothy Rose Merrill

Memorial service for Dorothy "Peg" Merrill are scheduled for Sat., Feb. 11,2012 at the First United Methodist Church, Quitman. Burial will be 1:15 PM prior to the memorial service at the Quitman City Cemetery under the direction of Lowe Funeral Home, Quitman.

Peg was born May 3, 1924 in Brooklyn, N. Y. She was an Exe. Secretary for a Marketing Company.
She died Feb. 2, 2012 in Sherman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Langton Todd Merrill; her parents, Charles and Charlotte Campbell. her brother, Charles Campbell, and her first husband, Donald R. Stewart.
She is survived by 3 sons:Jefferson A. Stewart, Thomas D. Stewart and Roderick Stewart. 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be sent to First Unted Methodist Church Quitman or to the Quitman Public Library.
