Graveside services for Mr. Ernest Richard Boyd, Jr. are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Monday, January 7, 2013 at the Boyd Cemetery, CR 3861, Hawkins, with Gaylon Embrey officiating. Ernest was born March 17, 1940 in Dallas, TX to Ernest and Evelyn Boyd. He was retired from Trinidad Benham Company and was in the U. S. Army. He moved to Hawkins in 1974 coming from Balch Springs, TX. He is survived by 2 Sons: Ernest and Terry Boyd, Hawkins, and Eddie and Linda Boyd, Mineola, TX., 1 Sister: Betty Jean Boyd, Hawkins, TX. 2 Grandchildren, Halen and Allison Boyd, numerous nieces and nephews.
