Eva Weems

With great sadness, but also with joy we announce the death of our loving , devoted wife, mother, Mimi, sister, aunt, and friend to all who knew her. Eva Jane Weems age 81, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was born March 15, 1940, to the late Grady and Ada Kate Beard Cranfill in Barstow, Texas. She married Billy Maynard Weems on August 6, 1960. She was a homemaker and loving wife, mother, and Mimi to her family. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Quitman.

Mimi (her favorite name) was a fun, dedicated, loving, wife, mother, and Mimi.
She loved and treasured spending time with her family and friends. She loved to
cook and celebrate any occasion with family and friends. She was a woman with
many talents and gifts as she painted, cross-stitched, gardened, worked puzzles
and had fierce-fun board games especially with her grandkids. Most of all, she
loved her family and taught them the love of Jesus and showed them how to live
a life walking daily with Him. We will miss her dearly, but because of Jesus we
know we will see her again in Heaven.
