Glenda Howle Owen

Glenda Howle Owen, 79, of Longview, passed away in the early morning hours of Tuesday, June 11, 2019.

Glenda was born in Longview to C.R. Howle and Sarah Pauline (Dial) Howle on September 23, 1939. She was a Longview resident for 8 years, living in Wood County many years prior. She was a Christian and visited many churches. Glenda enjoyed spending her free time with family and with her lifelong best friend of 50-60 years, Janece Chandler Baldwin.

She is preceded in death by her parents, C.R. and Pauline Howle; husband, Don L. Owen; and grandson, Hunter Wilson.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Karla Wilson Smith of Longview; son, Wesley Keith Wilson of Longview; stepchildren, Mike and Greg Owen; four grandchildren, Robert Wilson, Chase Wilson, Hailey White and husband Jeff, and Heather Jurenka; three great grandchildren; Brayden, Maverick, and Sawyer; best friend, Janece Chandler Baldwin; special relative, Kathy Gilbreath; and several other close family members.
