Harvey Rush Clements, II

Harvey Rush Clements II, of Mineola, passed away September 13, 2024 at the age of 62.

Harvey was born in Grand Prairie, Texas on June 21, 1962 to Harvey Rush Clements Sr. and Glenda Lu (Hobbs) Clements. He was a resident of Wood County for over 30 years and owned and operated H&G Services, specializing in tax preparation and bookkeeping. He was active in the Lions Club of Mineola, where he was the past president and a charter member. He enjoyed helping host the pancake breakfast for the Lions Club, eye glass collection and recycling, and many other nonprofit events.

Harvey married the love of his life, Tina, on January 19, 1995 in Wood County. In his spare time he could be found fishing, trying his luck at the casinos, or spending time with his family. His family was his pride and joy, especially his grandchildren who fondly call him “Pawpaw” or “Popsicle”.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Glenda Clements; daughter, Kimberly Forrister; paternal grandparents, Edward Lee Clements and Thelma Marie Clements; and maternal grandparents, Gaston Hunter Hobbs and Edna Mae Hobbs.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 29 years, Tina Clements of Mineola; three sons, Christopher Clements, Charles Clements and wife Stacie, and Christian Clements; two daughters, Glenda Risinger and husband Bryan, and Fallon Clements and husband Raymond; five grandchildren, Stormi Risinger, Taylor Rucci, Bryan Risinger, Mia Clements, and Linsey Boyer; two great-grandchildren, Artemis Clements and Apollo Clements; brother, Ed Clements and wife Crystal; three sisters, Sherry Vann and husband Larry, Karen Williams, and Lisa Broom and husband Blake; and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral service to honor the life of Harvey Rush Clements II is scheduled for 2:00 PM Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Lowe-Gardner Funerals & Cremations.  The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service, beginning at 12:00 PM.
