Emblem

Darrell was born February 16, 1936, and passed away peacefully from this life with his loved ones at his side on January 14, 2025.

At an early age, Darrell was involved with cutting horses and even rode Bareback events. He loved to hunt and fish, and his family has such great memories of both of these activities with their "Pops". He was quite a character, an excellent storyteller, and he loved dancing, mostly with his wife, Ellen. He was a kind soul, who loved helping people. He served in the US Army during the Korean War, based out of Fort Sheridan, Illinois. He worked for T&T Implement John Deere, Terrain King out of Houston, and sold heavy equipment for JCB before he ventured out on his own. If you knew Darrell, then you were blessed. He loved, laughed, and lived well.

A Celebration of life for Darrell Dyer will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Lands’ End Volunteer Fire Department.

Final resting place will be held at Martin's Prairie Baptist Church and Cemetery on February 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
