James Vernon Turner, 94, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2024. Jim was born on May 17, 1929 in Pampa, Texas to D. C. and Lula Turner. He was a resident of Hawkins, Texas for over forty years.
After graduating from North Texas State College, he spent many years as a well-respected accountant before changing careers and opening his own real estate company in Lewisville, Texas.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 68 years, Roselyn Juanita Oberpriller Turner and three daughters, Janet Marquis of Austin, Texas; Amy Prindle and husband Mike of Highland Village, Texas; and Brenda Robinson and husband Billy of Junction, Texas. He is also survived by his six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
As a respected veteran and sergeant of the US Air Force, he will be remembered for his love, dedication, and service to his country and family.
Interment will be at DFW National Cemetery. May his memory be a blessing and may he rest in peace.
