Jimmie Dee Deas, 93, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday October 30, 2020.
Jimmie was born on May 18, 1927 to his parents John Keel Deas and Minnie Juarlia Weeks in the Rock Hill Community in Wood County Texas.
Jimmie married the love of his life Helen Naomi (Littlepage) Deas on November 13, 1951. They attended the Rock Hill Baptist Church for many years. He was a World War II U.S. Navy Veteran, a member of the American Legion in Winnsboro Texas, and the V.F.W. Jimmie worked for Wood County Electric and was also a dairy farmer/rancher.
Jimmie is preceded in death by his wife Helen Deas; his parents John and Minnie Deas; Daughter Mary Hicks Deas; 7 sisters and 3 brothers.
He is survived by his son John Deas; his daughters Dorothy Anthony (Husband James), Cathy Dye (Husband Garland), Becky Burford (Husband Johnny) and Son-in-Law Johnny Hicks; 15 Grandkids; 17 Great Grandkids and the many other family and friends.
Graveside Service for Mr. Deas will be Sunday November 1, 2020 at 3:00 at Myrtle Springs Cemetery. The officiant will be Brother Danny Parker.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Myrtle Springs Cemetery Association.
