Linda Sue Bradshaw

Memorial service for Mrs. Linda Bradshaw, 71, of Quitman, is scheduled for 1:00 PM Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Lowe Funeral Home with Brother Fred Morrow officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home.

Linda Sue (Jackson) Bradshaw was born in Winnsboro on October 4, 1947 to J.R. and Audrey (Usrey) Jackson and passed away in the early morning hours of Tuesday, June 11, 2019. On September 20, 1967 she married the love of her life, Johnny Bradshaw, in Grice, Texas. The two lived in Dallas several years before moving back to Quitman in 1982. She worked for Western Electric and later for Airborne Inc. for 10 years, but her greatest accomplishment was being a homemaker. Linda was a devoted wife for 51 ½ years and a role model to her children and grandchildren. She selflessly raised her grandchildren, teaching them to cook, keep house, and how to raise a family. She enjoyed making porcelain dolls and sewing, but after her great grandchildren arrived, she could be found spending time and loving on them.

Linda was a Christian and a member of Little Hope Baptist Church.

Linda is enjoying being reunited with her family who passed before her. She is preceded in death by her parents, J.R. and Audrey Jackson; brother, Bobby Jackson; sister, Eva Bradshaw; daughter, Shelly Bradshaw; and son, Kevin Bradshaw.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Johnny Bradshaw of Quitman; grandchildren, Emily Bradshaw and Colin Bradshaw and wife Brittany; great grandchildren Haygen and Coleman Bradshaw; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Linda may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
