Linda Kay Small

Linda Kay Small, a beloved daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2024. She was born on February 28, 1953, in Dallas, Texas to Joseph Darwin Small Jr. and Jovita Tisalona Small. 

She is survived by her brother, Michael Small; her sister, Pamela Foster; her son, James Hazelwood; and her grandchildren: Nicholas Hazelwood, Chris Hazelwood, Crystal Martinez, Anthony Martinez, Ashley Hazelwood, Landon Hazelwood, Zachary Hazelwood, and Zane Hazelwood.

Linda lived her life with boundless energy and a passion for adventure. She never missed an opportunity to travel, explore new places, and create lasting memories. Her vibrant personality, kind heart, and warm smile left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Linda’s legacy is one of love, joy, and the countless lives she touched. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A celebration of Linda’s life will be held on January 12, 2025 at 3:00 pm located at Lowe-Gardner Funerals & Cremations in Quitman, Texas. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 PM, one hour prior to the service.
