Lorna Bowie

Memorial services for Lorna Bowie, 89 of Quitman are scheduled for 3:00 PM Monday, June 24th at The First United Methodist Church, Quitman with Dr. Dick White officiating. Lorna was born June 6, 1924 in Lesterville, South Dakota to Gustav and Martha Louise Walz Mueller. She moved to Quitman in l970 from Santa Barbara, CA. She received the Pilot Club Humanatarian Award, served on The Child Protective Board of Wood County for 5 years and played piano at Wesley House and Heritage. She is preceded by parents, Gustav and Martha Mueller; husband, Robert Bowie and sister, Metha Rdhn.

Lorna is survived by 1 son, Jack (Susan) Bowie, Santa Barbara, CA; 2 daughters, JoAnn Bradfield, Derby, KS and Judie Jones, Shasta Lake, CA; brother, Edgar Mueller, Menno, SD; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
