Marie Allie Milliorn

Marie Allie Milliorn, 89, of Quitman, Texas, passed away on January 30, 2025.

She was born on May 8, 1935, in Dallas, Texas, to parents Luther Barem and Winnie Croy Christian. Marie graduated high school in Dallas and later pursued a career as a bookkeeper for an accounting firm. She was a dedicated and hardworking professional, known for her attention to detail and strong work ethic.

On November 3, 1954, she married the love of her life, Bobby Earl Milliorn, in Dallas. Together, they built a beautiful life and were blessed with three loving children.

Marie and Bobby eventually moved to the Wood County area, where she became an active member of First Baptist Church in Quitman. Her faith was an essential part of her life, and she found great joy in her church community.

Marie will be remembered for her kindness, resilience, and devotion to her family. She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, sharing stories, and creating cherished memories. She had a warm spirit and a gentle heart, always ready to offer encouragement and support to those around her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Winnie Christian; her husband Bobby Earl Milliorn; daughter Susan Irene Milliorn Spiers; brother Barem Christian; and sister Onita Christian Stewart.

Marie is survived by her children Bobby Earl Milliorn Jr. and wife Martha, and Danny Christian Milliorn and wife Renee; her sister Evelyn Christian Dickson and husband Mike; grandchildren Christian Travis Milliorn, Curtis Allen Milliorn, Amy Spiers Navarro and husband Omar, Aaron Richard Spiers, Brittany Milliorn Alcala and husband Joshua, and Jordan Marie Milliorn; great-grandchildren Dominic, Allie, and Benjamin Navarro; and many other family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00AM on Monday, February 3, 2025 at Woodside Cemetery in Grand Saline Texas. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00PM on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Lowe-Gardner Funerals & Cremations. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Quitman in Marie’s honor.
