Mary Kay Bailey

No services are scheduled at this time for Mary Katherine "Kay" Bailey, 75, Alba. Kay was born February 10, 1938 in Hutchinson, Ks. to Ray and Helen Sandberg Havens. She was a public classroom teacher. She lived many years in Wood County moving from Dallas. Kay was a lifelong member of the PTA, she taught at Alba Golden ISD, Winnsboro, and Dallas public schools. She was her happiest working in Quitman with daughter Sarah as a legal assistant until the end(for the past 10 year.) She was an avid writer and beautiful singer.

Kay is survived by her husband Kenneth T. Bailey, Alba; 1 daughter, Sarah Bailey King and Larry, Quitman and Kimberly Henson Starks and husband Aarin, Cedar Hill, who is considered a daughter; 1 brother, Charlie Havens, Rockwall and 3 sisters.
