Norene “Dink” Clarke of Quitman, Texas went to meet her Savior early Monday morning at the age of 64. Her faith and life will be celebrated with a service conducted by Matt Arnold on Saturday, March 9th, 2024 at 2 PM in the Honey Grove Cowboy Church, 3050 Hwy 100 North, Honey Grove, Texas, 75446.
She was an LVN and was dedicated to her calling. In more recent years Dink enjoyed a second calling as an over-the-road truck driver.
She is survived by a son Michael Cotton and Melissa of Quitman, Texas; four grandchildren, Amber Starnes and husband Doyle of Gun Barrell City, Texas, Tyler Cotton of Gun Barrell City, Texas, Autumn Cotton of Terrell, Texas, Michelle Cotton of Quitman, Texas; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Thomas Terrill of Sawyer, Oklahoma, and Matt Arnold and wife Patty of Powderly, Texas; sister, Dena Karstens and husband Paul of Wilburton, Oklahoma; brother-in-law, James Osborne of Bald Knob, Arkansas; and friend, Charles Cotton of West Tawakoni, Texas, along with numerous nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Arnold; sister, Diane Osborne; son, Wade Cotton; and granddaughter Lisa Cotton.
Dink will always be remembered for her faithful love for her family and friends, especially those new great-grandchildren and her special friend, Casino her dog.
She grew nearer and dearer to her church family at Honey Grove Cowboy Church daily.
If you knew Dink, you knew,
she was what you saw,
she said what she meant and
she meant what she said.
She had a Kevlar exterior but a
Heart of Gold.
