Patsy Wynette Parris

Graveside service for Patsy Wynette Parris, 71, of Quitman are scheduled for 10:00AM Thursday, September 15, 2016 at the Cumby Cemetery in Cumby, TX with Ben Cathey officiating.


Pat was born April 3, 1945 in Dallas to Wesley Almon and Wynette (Moreland) Almon and passed away September 11, 2016 in Tyler. She lived in Quitman 26 years, previously living in Sulphur Springs. Pat worked at the Wood County National Bank in Quitman and as a dental assistant. She was Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Joe Parris, Jr. of Quitman; 2 daughters, Deena and husband Dr. Greg Eberhart of Quitman; Patti Jo and husband Reggie Spencer of Teague, TX; 2 brothers, Geary W. Almon of Cumby; Randy V. Almon of Lake Fork; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
