Paula Beth Brinkmeyer, a beloved mother, grandmother, wife, and friend, passed away on April 13, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on June 25, 1942, in McKinney, Texas, she was the daughter of Paul and Mary Enloe. Paula's roots ran deep in Texas, where she spent her early years in McKinney, and eventually moved to Yantis in 1998.

On June 22, 1962, Paula married Carl Brinkmeyer, the love of her life. Their union not only sparked a beautiful partnership but also a loving family that Paula treasured dearly. A devoted wife and mother, Paula found joy in her roles as a caregiver and nurturer. Her spirit shone brightest when she was surrounded by family, particularly in her treasured role as "Granny" to her grandchildren.

Paula had an unwavering love for nature, spending countless hours tending to her flower beds and exploring her passion for gardening.

Paula is preceded by her parents Paul and Mary Enloe; sister Polly Enloe Louellen.

Paula leaves behind her devoted husband, Carl Brinkmeyer; children Tony Spurgin & wife Laura, and Danny Brinkmeyer & wife Nan; siblings John Enloe & wife Janice, Benny Enloe & wife Leta, and Priscilla Carrway & husband Oliver; grandchildren Austin Brinkmeyer, Taylor Douglas, Jaakob Brinkmeyer, Ashley Mack, Cody Sprugin, Jay Brinkmeyer, and Melissa Henry; great-grandchildren Charlie, Peyton, Kwynn, Zoie, Izaak, Skylar; one great-great grandson on the way; her nieces and nephews, Hope Caraway, Dale Caraway, Susie Enloe, Bobby Enloe, Benny Enloe, Michelle Enloe, Nicole Enloe, Matthew Taylor, Samuel Taylor, Johnny Taylor, Wesley Enloe, and Sherry Granger-Stanton; and many other family members and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Enloe, Benny Enloe, Justin Golden, Dale Caraway, Zack Burt, and Matt Taylor.

Family will receive friends Friday, April 18, 2025, from 6:00PM to 8:00PM for visitation at Lowe-Gardner Funerals & Cremations.

Funeral services for Paula will be held at Lowe-Gardner Funerals & Cremations on April 19, 2025, at 4:00 PM with graveside to follow at Quitman City Cemetery.
