Paula Love

Paula Katheryn (Arrington) Love, age 93, of Gilmer, Texas passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021 in Longview, Texas. She was born on April 9, 1927 in Winnsboro, Texas, to Clem and Esther (Kidwell) Arrington. Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 11AM, Thursday, April 1, 2021 in the Smyrna Cemetery. Katheryn grew up in Wood County and married George Love on April 23, 1948 at the home of Bro. Jake Norris. They were members of Smyrna Baptist Church near Winnsboro. She began working for Brookshire’s Food Store in Winnsboro in 1982 as a checker and worked there for 10 years. Surviving family includes her daughter, Jan Beaty, of Longview; daughter, Karen Garmon of Gilmer; grandsons, Scott Beaty and his wife Jill of Lewisville, Brandon Garmon and his wife Kim of Gilmer; granddaughter Kim Beaty Geraci and her husband Tony of Winnsboro; 5 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; as well as many other extended family and friends. Katheryn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George, a sister, Nelda Bryce, and brother Forrest Arrington.
