Pauline Wilson

Pauline Wilson, of Winnsboro, passed away on October 26, 2024 at the age of 94.

Pauline was born on March 3, 1930 in Tyler, Texas to Paul and Lena Marie Brewster. She graduated from John Tyler High School in 1946 and briefly attended Citrus Jr. College. Pauline later worked for Bank of America in California from 1946 until 1976. She moved to Wood County in the 70’s.

Pauline is preceded in death by her parents, Paul Brewster and Lena Marie Mitchell; husband, John Henry Wilson; sons, Sam Wilson and Richard Wilson; brother, Jerry Brewster; and sister, Helen Self.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Connie Wilson of Tucson, Arizona; two sisters, Jean Frisk of Kansas and Betty Taylor of Dallas; sister-in-law, Gloria Huff of Duncanville; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Funeral service for Pauline will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 1, 2024 at Lowe-Gardner Funerals and Cremations. She will be laid to rest beside her husband following the service at Shady Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 AM.
