Randal Wayne Milner

A celebration of life memorial for Randal Wayne Milner of Yantis will be held on October 14, 2024 at 11 o’clock at The Links at Lands End Pavilion located at 285 Private Road 5980, Yantis, Tx. 75497. It is suggested, in honor of Randy, that you dress appropriately for the event, ready to golf or ready to fish, your choice.

Randy was born on July 10, 1958, in Tyler, Texas to Charles Clifton and Reba Gertrude (Harris) Milner. He married Alicia “Lisa” Brown in Yantis on August 4, 2007. He was a longtime area resident and was proud to bring to Wood County his company R & M Associates, Inc., a national provider of industrial supplies, which he founded in 2003. Randy had a very eclectic work history before starting R & M. He spent time traversing Texas working in the oil field, and he and his brothers operated Milner Brothers Pest Control. However, what he is probably best known for is his time as a fishing guide on legendary Lake Fork, even landing a 13.24 lb TPWD ShareLunker in 1993. While always a hard worker, Randy enjoyed his downtime, fishing, spending time at the golf course, watching football, and playing guitar. He will be fondly remembered for his favorite activity, hosting family and friends and cooking BBQ. As a younger man, Randy taught son Charlie to go kart race and compete on dirt tracks. Randy was also a competitor himself, having won multiple trophies as a competitive dancer.

Survivors include his wife Lisa; son Charlie Milner of Tyler, TX; step-daughter Christi and husband Michael Cimino of Quitman, TX; unofficial daughter Jamie and husband Zach Dulude of Como, TX; brothers Gary Milner and Judy Hall of Flint, Steve and wife Jane Milner of Tyler; Greg and Billie Milner of Houston; unofficial grandchildren, Sebastian, Bowen, and Watson Garcia and Emmy, Sadie, Oakley, and Sawyer Dulude; a niece and several nephews along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Mandy.

For those who desire, memorial contributions in honor of Randal Wayne Milner may be directed to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
