Funeral service for Tawayne Arron “T.J.” Glover is scheduled for 4:00 PM Thursday, September 2, 2021 at the Lowe-Gardner Funeral Chapel with Brother Keith Rothra officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
T.J. Glover went to his Heavenly home Thursday evening, August 26, 2021 at the age of 56.
T.J. was born in Yuma, Arizona to Lester David and Joyce Erlene Raedel Glover on August 29, 1964. Upon graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served his country proudly. After his service in the Marine Corps, he went on to obtain his Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from The George Washington University in Maryland. On September 10, 1994 he married the love of his life, Cindy Bratcher Glover. T.J. was a truck driver for Abigo and he and his wife lived on the road for many years before setting in Quitman in 2014. T.J. enjoyed fishing, golf, computer games, and especially loved to play jokes and pranks on his wife and children.
He is preceded in death by his son, Chad Alan Glover; great grandson, Brayden Hardin; great granddaughter, Addilynn Ritter; brother-in-law, Ricky Watts; and niece, Shawntèè Stiffy.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of nearly 27 years, Cynthia “Cindy” Glover of Quitman; parents, Lester and Joyce Glover of East Mountain, TX; three children, Aaron Glover and wife Katie of Oregon, Stacie Bearce and husband Kenny of Illinois, and Brandon Hill and wife Tawaina of Indiana; siblings, Wendy Carmona and husband Eric Stringer of Rockmart, GA, Lydell Glover of East Mountain, TX, and Celeste Watts of Hallsville; 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; his loyal four-legged companion, Abby; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.
