Tommy Glen Sharp

Tommy Glen Sharp, 53, of Winnsboro, Texas, entered Heavens gates on March 8, 2022.

Tommy was born on April 20, 1968, in Smith County, Texas to Hamlet “Frog” Wayne Sharp and Jerlean (Jody) Keller. He grew up in Mineola, Texas and attended Mineola ISD. Tommy loved to go out on the road with his dad, and he taught him how to drive. From there on, Tommy grew a passion for truck driving. He also enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and in his younger years he loved to hunt deer.

Tommy was employed as a truck driver at D Price Trucking Solutions in Dallas, Texas. He had recently moved from Dallas to Winnsboro, and he would often attend Church on the Rock in Quitman with his stepmother.

Tommy was welcomed into heaven by his father, Hamlet “Frog” Sharp; mother, Jerlean (Jody) Keller; brother, Raymond Sharp; and special friend, Kim Johnson.

His memory will be cherished by his stepmothers, Ann Linscombe of Mineola, and Debby Sharp of Mineola; two brothers, Robert Sharp and his wife Tonya of Winnsboro, and Bobby Sharp; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Church On The Rock on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 1:00 PM with Pastor David Jackson officiating.
