Verna Miriam Parachoniak

Verna Parachoniak, 95, of Dallas, passed away on February 8, 2018.Verna was born in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada. Verna married Joseph Parachoniak on September 19, 1953 in St. Thomas, Ontario. She and Joseph later moved to Port Huron, Michigan where she worked as an RN in an operating room.She was preceded in death by her son, Jay Parachoniak, great granddaughter, Emily Collins; six brothers, and one sister.Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 65 years, Joseph J. Parachoniak; daughter, Mary Ellen McKinney; three grandchildren, Verna Lee McKinney, JD McKinney and wife Kristin, and Tyrell McKinney and wife Sarah; and four great grandchildren, Delaney, Trentin, Dylan, and Brayden.
