Walter Larry Billlups

Walter Larry Billups passed away Saturday December 14, 2024, in Quitman Texas. 

Larry was born on March 22,1947 in Ector County, Texas to parents Vernon T. Billups and Wanetta Louise Layton Billups. He served proudly in the U.S. Navy. Larry was a retired mechanic and an avid bass fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his wife Carey, parents, sister Alice and grandson Eric. 

He is survived by his daughter Renee Tabor and husband Clinton; son Robert Jones and wife Jeanie; stepsons Michael Willoughby and wife Margret and Kelly Willoughby; stepdaughter Colleen Seaman and husband Brad; Grandchildren Justin, Josh, Jewelya, Coy, Bekkah, Michelle , Chris, Kristen, Phillip, Cody ,Karyan ,Carly; several great-grandchildren; sisters Ann Brozek and husband Vaughn, and Carolyn Black and husband Bill; and a niece and nephews.

A memorial service in his honor will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday January 4, 2025, at Lake Fork Community Clubhouse at Holiday Village, 335 Geronimo, Quitman TX,  75783. 

Romans 14:10-12
