Funeral services for Walter Pinkston McMillan 81, Quitman are scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Saturday, November 17, 2012 at
Brocks Chapel United Methodist Church, Quitman, with Reverend Linda McCullough officiating. Burial will follow in the Quitman City Cemetery. Family will receive friends Friday evening, November 16th at the funeral home.

Walter was born January 4, 1931 in Quitman to Walter R. and Bessie Mallory McMillan. He was retired from the U. S. Navy after serving 22 years. He is married to Dorothea Hill McMillan who survives him along with their 3 children, Darrell McMillan, Baltimore, MD., Olivia Pruitt, Hot Springs, AR., and Marsha Mosley, Grand Prairie, TX., 1 Brother, Mallory R. McMillan, Dallas and 2 sisters, Ollie L. Conger, Quitman and Ida Bessie Russell, Dallas, TX., 7 Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews.
