Walter L. White, a long-time resident of Holly Lake Ranch, Texas, passed away on November 23, 2024, at the age of 82. Walter was born on December 18, 1941, in Dallas to Lee and Lillian White. 

Walter was known for his unwavering faith and dedication to his church community. Walter White was an integral part of First Baptist Church Dallas, where he served diligently for ten years as head of the printing shop. His commitment to his work and his love for the church community left a lasting impact on all who knew him. Walter's passion for reading and studying the Bible was evident in both his personal life and his service at the church. Walter was also a Veteran of the United States Army, serving his country proudly during the Vietnam War era. 

Throughout his 24 years in Holly Lake Ranch, Walter touched the lives of many with his kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith. His memory will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Walter is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Royce White.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda White; son, Tim White; brother, Charles White; and granddaughters, Makenna White and Makalee White.

Graveside services will be held at the Quitman City Cemetery on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 10:00 AM.
